A blustery day

It takes a gully-washer to keep me indoors all day! And thats exactly what happened on Saturday. Major rainstorm. Perfect day for polishing aluminum. I set up a worktable in the kitchen (finally made use of that space that I rarely visit!) and grabbed a few trim pieces to start on. Debbie was kind enough to join me for about 4 hours - great to have her encouragement. She actually seems to enjoy the polishing process. Me - I'd really like to just make those curtains and be done with it! After trial and error, we figured out what would work and what was a waste of time. I can now see the reward to sitting for an hour and grinding on 1 tiny piece of metal with with a Dremel. Way too much like a dental drill for me. But the results are amazing! Good thing this trailer only has 6 windows. Seeing as I have the patience of a 5 year old, the polishing does get rather tiresome. If I can just do a few pieces at a time, it won't be so bad. Right?
